Always Something Special: State Street Flea Market

Macy’s on State Street, First Floor Arcade (Wabash and Randolph) May 24 – Fall 2007
The State Street Flea Market is back by popular demand for the sixth time in Chicago. Flea market finds from all over Europe will be featured at the Macy's on State Street store from May 24 through Fall 2007. The 2007 Flea Market will be an eclectic array of carefully selected goods, from antique to modern, vintage to vinyl, global to provincial, and rustic to industrial. A global team of Macy's buyers scoured top flea markets in Paris, the South of France, North England, London's Portobello Road, Amsterdam, and Barcelona to find thousands of flea market trinkets and treasures. From Swedish Gustavian furniture and brilliantly colored Bombe chests to Russian military hats, Parisian vintage handbags and British pub signs, the market will feature an array of finds that fit every budget with merchandise ranging in price from $1 to $15,000. Located on the first floor, the show will highlight large collections that change monthly and sometimes weekly, so return trips for treasure hunting will be a must. All Flea Market purchases are final. On-site parcel pickup and large-item delivery is available. The Flea Market is open during store hours.
